Questions, answered
Support should feel clear and human.
A few clear answers about what support can look like when you work with me.
What does a postpartum doula do?
A postpartum doula provides non-medical practical, emotional, and informational support as a family adjusts to life with a new baby.
What can a postpartum visit include?
Visits can include newborn-care guidance, help learning baby’s cues, meal preparation, dishes, laundry, holding the baby while you rest, and support around feeding goals.
Can support include overnights or remote care?
Yes. I offer daytime and overnight postpartum support as well as virtual and remote support.
Will I be judged for how I feed or parent my baby?
No. I support families in their own goals, whether they breastfeed, pump, formula feed, or combine approaches.
Where do you offer support?
I’m based in Kingston, NH, and serve families throughout southern New Hampshire, southern Maine, and Massachusetts.
Does doula care replace medical care?
No. Doulas do not provide medical advice or clinical care. They work alongside a family’s clinical care team.
